Michael Mi
Chess
Newton  South High School- Grade 11

My name is Michael Mi, and I am a junior at Newton South High School. From a young age, I have always been interested in the game of chess. I am the captain of my school’s chess team and I have been teaching chess at Century Chinese Learning School for three years now. When I was younger I won numerous scholastic tournaments and also won the Back Bay Open and placed at the Mass Open. It is a great experience to be able to teach kids the game and see them improve and most of all have fun with each other.
