Homework Corner

vPal Homework Corner runs from 3:00 to 5:30 at the town library, available days change according to Dover-Sherborn High sports season. DS Middle School students can reach us online and get help in various subjects, and we invite the high schoolers to be our Homework Buddies and help the younger students too. Together we will do homework, compare notes and prepare for quizzes and tests. We also have a group of dedicated volunteers who have Mandarin-speaking parents, to help our peers in high school taking Ms.Li’s class to work on their pronunciation and daily homework.

We don’t claim to provide tutoring service, however, we believe that the best learning happens when we have questions and answer them together. We will show the younger students how we search for answers from reputable resources whether it’s math, science, etc., and teach them how we filter information online. It’s almost like the “Big Brother Big Sister” program at our school, only it runs for a more extended period, and it is available online!
