We Are Teachers

Student Teaching is a relatively loose term with vPal. You don’t have to be in a college majoring in Education or Pedagogy to participate in a student teaching program. We believe in training leadership skills in showing people how to do something and teaching them to do it well. Whether it’s a large classroom setting or a semi-private studio, volunteers gain valuable organization, public speaking, communication, and leadership skills from being a teacher. Along with the training and support provided by vPal, your teaching experience is guaranteed to be worthy of your time given to our community.

You have to be a Teacher’s Assistants for two years before becoming a Student Teacher at vPal. If you are currently a TA at the CCLS, please read the TA Handbook and keep track of your weekly hours.
