Claire Bai

Algonquin Regional High School – Grade 11
Claire Bai enjoys writing in many different forms, but creative writing has always been her passion. Now a junior, she has been an editor for the Algonquin school newspaper, the Harbinger, since freshman year. She has also attended the Young Writers Workshop at Simon’s Rock. Claire has past experience with teaching students writing, working as a TA for previous writing classes at CCLS. She hopes to encourage young students to develop a love for writing, while becoming stronger writers.
Allison Chen

Hopkinton High School – Grade 11
Allison Chen is currently a sophomore at Hopkinton High School, and has been playing violin for the past 8 years. She participates in her school orchestra and also in New England Conservatory’s Junior Repertory Orchestra.
Celina Xiong

Westborough High School – Grade 11
Celina Xiong has been studying painting for 10 years. She has won a National Gold Medal at the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards for painting, 2 Regional Gold Keys, and 2 Honorable Mentions. Her national award-winning painting has been exhibited in art galleries in New York and was chosen by US Department of Education in a top honors display in Washington D.C. She is a young artist member of the organization Art Worcester.
Dorothy Zhang

Nobles and Greenough High School- Grade 10
Dorothy Zhang is currently a student at the Noble and Greenough school, and she is in tenth grade. She has been playing violin for around 8 years, and has attended the Rivers Youth Orchestra, NEC, and BYSO.
Annie Chan
Dover Sherborn High School- Grade 10
Annie Chan has been experimenting with arts and crafts since she was four years old. She is glad to say that this year will be her 13th time getting published and 5th award in the Celebrating Arts Contest. She hopes to share her artistic skills with those who are also passionate about art. Two years ago, she decided to start her own business in painting shoes. She started off her business from Etsy and as it grew, she started to make a website full of blogs and YouTube videos on how to make some of her art and designs. She has also worked at her local Chinese camp last year. She guided the kids at the camp to explore the different styles of art: oriental paintings, garden drawings, sculptures, art collages. It fills her heart to be able to give back to those who want to take the advantage to learn from her.
Ani Goorha
Dover Sherborn High School – Grade 12
Ani Goorha is a senior at Dover-Sherborn High School. She started calligraphy as a hobby in 9th grade and continued to practice note taking skills through high school. She has also taken art classes.
Hannah Zhou
Holliston High School- Grade 10
Hannah Zhou is a sophomore in Holliston High School, and has been coding for several years, mainly in Java and Python. She participates in USACO, a computer algorithm competition, but also adores working with kids, teaching them the basics of computer programming. She has teached Python at CAYA, an online Chinese Summer Camp, and is teaching for her first time at CCLS.
Jeffrey Wang

Hopkinton High School – Grade 11
Jeffrey Wang is currently a sophomore in Hopkinton High School, and has been studying programming in his free time since last year. Jeffrey has been working with React Native in an internship for the past couple months and additionally knows JavaScript, Python, and is learning C.
